I'm back again! The expecting father with many question. I bought a crib with an attached changing table. It came with a plasticpad like surface (attached on top of the table) with a strap. Now, I have seen them sell changing pads in the store. Do I need this also, or is what I already have a changing pad?

I have a natural color wooden changing table that we bought for my son when he was born 3 years ago. We are having a baby girl and want everything in white. We had to buy a new crib and have a white dresser. We want to use my son's changing table, but would like it white. How do you change the color? Do I need to sand it, then prime and paint it? I don't know how to do these DIY projects. Any info would be helpful.

The white changing table is practically new. I would like to change the color to a honey oak to match other pieces of furniture. How should i go about this project? I don't mind a lot of work, i just want it to come out perfect.
Thank you for any suggestions.
